Maya Ivanjesku, the brand’s creative visionary and Chief Scientific Officer, has over twenty years of experience in the pharmaceutical, cosmeceutical and biotech industries and has held key senior leadership and product development positions at many of the leading companies in the skincare industry, including: Estée Lauder, Clinique, Bobbi Brown, and Origins.
It was a lifelong study of the transformative properties of botanicals that inspired Maya Ivanjesku, Dakota Biotech’s creative visionary and CSO, to create LaFlore® Probiotic Skincare.
“When I was envisioning LaFlore®, I had one thought in mind: to create a plant-based, live probiotic product line that would help calm, nourish and be kind to the skin at every stage of life.
Much of what we have been taught about skincare over the years, especially in terms of what our skin needs to be healthy at every age, focuses on treating skin concerns rather than putting the skin back in balance. Live probiotics boost the health of your skin’s microbiome, and when your skin’s microbiome is healthy, you don’t need a complicated skincare routine that changes as you age. You can use one simple product collection for life,” says Maya.
Maya holds a Master of Science degree and dedicated over twenty years of her career to the pharmaceutical, cosmeceutical and biotech industries. Prior to creating LaFlore®, Maya held key senior leadership and product development positions at many leading companies in the skincare industry, including: Estée Lauder, Clinique, Bobbi Brown and Origins.
