Antioxidant Rich Smoothie Recipe- You’re Gonna Want To Try This!

As the Chief Scientific Officer at LaFLore®, you can imagine I spend a lot of time in a laboratory blending ingredients to make our amazing products. Truth be told, I spend so much time in a lab coat, I probably look a little like a mad scientist at this point… (hey, there’s a Halloween costume idea!) 

Well, for breast cancer awareness month, I decided to blend up some ingredients for a pink smoothie recipe packed with ultra-healthy, free-radical fighting antioxidants- not to mention a dizzying array of vitamins and minerals to keep you glowing and healthy, inside and out. 

You’ll recognize ingredients in this smoothie (like turmeric and cranberries) as known cancer-fighters as well:

Pink Smoothies- Serves 4:

  • 2 cups frozen berry mix
  • 1/2 cup frozen cranberries
  • 1″ fresh lemongrass
  • 1″ fresh Ginger root
  • 1″ Turmeric
  • 1 Cup fresh blueberries
  • 2 bananas
  • ¼ cup fresh mint leaves
  • ½ cup cold-pressed pomegranate juice
  • 2 pears

Blend well in a blender, and enjoy! (Add more juice if necessary)
